Forrest Gump In One Minute, One Take ★★★★☆

Review of 'Forrest Gump In One Minute, One Take' which can be found here at Filmgen.

Length: 01:01
Directed by Will Tribble
Genre: Comedy
Date: 2009
Rating: ★★★★☆

Logline: Does exactly what it says on the tin, erm title.

There's no hidden depths, symbolism, intelectual storyline or multi-layered characters to this, there is however, a great deal of fun. Ignore the shakey camera work, sometimes hard to hear audio and the fact that it's been sped up to fit its time target (cheats) because I like these group effort projects where folk have put in the time and effort to pull off a comedy skit.

I like the Benny Hill look (cue the theme tune), the cardboard props, and the overcast weather. Although it looks more like a work in progress, it's still worth a watch, even if just to save you watching the real film.

Best Bit: A hundred and forty one minute film crammed into just one.

Worst Bit: It looks pretty cheap.

Final thought: Reminds me of another classic - Pingu's 'The Thing'.
