Logline: Two teen girls invite a couple of guys round as part of a dangerous game.

Here's a film that will leave you with many unanswered questions and possibly cast your memory back to the real life incident which inspired this drama. We watch as a plan unfolds and takes shape, the goal of which alludes us until the very last scene. I imagine there was plenty of subtext written into the script for this but the on screen translation isn't perfect and maybe even a little 'soap-ish'. (I know that's not a real word) The audience will be well aware early on that this isn't going to be two girls inviting a couple of lads up to cop off. It's plain to see that something darker is afoot and just what their real intentions are is the focus of our attention.

Packed with Britain's up and coming, Imogen Poots, Scarlett Patterson, Christian Cooke, Jack Bence who are all very plausible if not still a little wet behind the ears. Dialogue is refreshingly true to teenage banter thought you may miss one or two lines through fast delivery. Pacing is good with a rising sense of expectation, almost dread, as we reach the climax. Again, as is becoming the norm, high production values are present allowing us to absorb the unfolding story easily.

The ending isn't too shocking and won't come as a surprise either. As someone who needs to know everything, an ambiguous ending frustrates me. That unopened envelope that dangles in front of our eyes but which we never get to read for example. Certainly food for thought on this one though.

Best Bit: Finding out what is behind the bedroom door.

Worst Bit: Why? Why? Why? I want to know why they did it?

Final thought: They're quite posh for living in a high rise block of flats.
